Celebrate Ramadan in 2021

When it comes to Ramadan traditions, there is a lot to take into consideration regarding the culture and customs. You can read more about what to expect during Ramadan here.

There are so many offers to choose from when it comes to Iftars. An iftar is the meal that Muslims have after sunset to break their day’s fast. In Dubai however, residents and tourists alike can also enjoy an Iftar, and we narrowed it down to the best deals for this year in all parts of Dubai, so you don’t have to look further!

This unique iftar, perfect for a couple or even for two friends, is inspired by North-American food. You and one more person will be spoiled for choice and enjoy a soup, three starters, three mains, two side dishes, dessert and two mocktails per couple. Added on are also dates, bread, hummus and lentil soup. The North-American influence can be seen in the Southern-fried chicken, rib-eye, pistachio baklava and many more.

This classic American saloon is situated on the 68th floor of JW Marriott Marquis with astonishing views of almost everywhere in Dubai, including the Burj Khalifa. There is even another Weslodge Venue in the world and can be found in Toronto, Canada.

This award-winning desert safari company is giving you the choice between a more traditional iftar, or a luxurious one – and both of their offers focus on exclusivity and privacy!

The traditional Iftar is perfect for families and groups of friends, you can book a private tent for up to 12 people, and the best of all is the more people you book for, the better the price gets! The evening includes an extensive Iftar with some traditional Emirati dishes, shisha to be enjoyed in your private tent or patio, and will end with a professional astronomy session and oud player.

If you are looking for something more luxurious, they also have an Iftar for the more discerning guests. Nestled in the dunes you will get to enjoy an indulgent 6-course fine dining meal in a private cabana and prepared by their on-site chef, completed with an impressive fire show.

Traditional Ramadan Iftar – 2 people AED 1,950 | 3 people AED 2,200 | 4 people AED 2,450 | 5 people AED 2,700 | 6 people  AED 2,950 (any additional guests will cost AED500 up to a maximum of 12 guests).

One of Dubai’s favourite restaurants is having an iftar inspired by French-Mediterranean cuisine. Upon arrival you can enjoy a welcome drink, soup and dates. This is followed by two starters, one main and desserts. If you are not in the mood to sit down and eat, you can also enjoy this as delivery.

LPM is a favourite French/Mediterranean inspired restaurant all over the world, with venues in London, Miami, Hong Kong, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi. The beautiful restaurant is reminiscent of something straight out of a movie on the French Riviera – light colors and fine fabrics, contrasted with brilliant bold colors in the art. If you have a closer look you will find many more classic elements that can be found in restaurants in France.

Listen to the sound of the waves breaking when breaking the fast in your own majlis on the beach, which can accommodate up to four people.

Situated on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah with uninterrupted views of the Arabian Gulf, you will feel like royalty when entering this palatial hotel. All guests stepping foot in here are considered lucky as they have Nazar Boncugu, or “evil eye bead” welcoming them above the hotel’s main entrance, this is a symbol of their hospitality, as this charm deflects negative energy.
